[DGM] Lady of the Blade

M'kay so a while ago I was doing research into tightlacing corsets and how long it takes to get the "desirable" shape, just in case I was giving Embria said shape and it turns out she'd have needed to tightlace for another two years or so to get there. After about 2 hours of looking I found an answer, but not before I decided I wanted to draw the bbu again - "correct" figure or no

As I mentioned in my last poll, I finally got a chance to finish playing Dragon Age Inquisition (73 hours, guis. That's a record - for being the longest single playthrough I've done to date, and it's the fastest I know of someone finishing, at least with my friends/family :'D). In DAI, you spend quite a bit of time in castles/palaces/haunted chateaus/etc, and in such places you see a lot of portraits of royalty. This isn't an idea unique to DA, but it's what gave me the idea to use this concept

Since this was supposed to be a painting like what you'd see in a home, I opted to go with something softer than my usual cel shading. Once I got all the base colors down, I actually challenged myself not to use the Pen tool for shading :'D turned out to be kinda fun
I might mess around with doing some for the other bbus, but I have things to finish first /sob

I did mess around with the uniform a little bit, just to give it a more regal feel _{basically all I did was add the frilly neck thingy and make the bottom of her jacket even}. To be honest I actually really like it xD AU uniform maybe? Or a future uni?

Sorry for the half-ass frame ;A; for one the Victorians made a point of making things complicated and intricate, and then metal is just no fun to shade and color when it has all those shapes going
